MoldPlus

MoldPlus is a Mastercam enhancement product that provides powerful time and money saving solutions to help get designs manufactured faster.

MoldPlus Software consists of surface trimming and extension tools, mold design tools such as Draft Angle Analysis, Core and Cavity Separation, and parting surface creation. Separating Core and Cavity geometry from complex surface or solid models once took hours. With MoldPlus it can be completed in minutes. Draft Angle Analysis allows users to automatically verify if a part can be machined and pulled correctly without generating a toolpath.

Other features of MoldPlus software include automatic moldlocks, surface edge extension tools, 2D and 3D edge creation tools, complex surface trimming, and automatic drafting layout. Users can even create square, rectangular, round or free form inserts quickly and automatically. The insert geometry can be isolated, trimmed and rotated ready for machining.
