Mastercam Wire EDM software includes fully associative geometry and toolpaths that let you modify the geometry, tooling information or machining parameters and immediately get an accurate, updated wirepath. The Operations Manager within the Mastercam Wire EDM software gives you a single place to create, modify and analyze all aspects of your wirepaths. User-customizable wire power libraries store power settings and other registers for rough and skim passes. Mastercam Wire EDM software also allows users to store a library of commonly used operations to automate machining.
A feature of the Mastercam Wire EDM software is the use of Machine and Control Definition to define features and characteristics for all the machines in your shop to simplify programming and streamline machine changes. The Mastercam Wire EDM software also allows for powerful EDM programming. Users are able to do graphical programming with options for straight cut, tapered cut, or tapered cut with land from either direction, modify control settings, corner types and taper angles at any point in a contour, and define separate lead-ins and lead-outs for wirepaths with trimming of leads to improve efficiency, among others.
Mastercam Wire EDM software utilizes efficient tab creation with a "No Drop Out" tab option and the ability to quickly add multiple tabs to any piece of geometry. With dependable wirepath verification, Mastercam Wire EDM allows you to watch your part being cut from a block of material with Mastercam's solid wirepath verification, and dynamically view all the vital information about tools and operations at any point in the wirepath.
