Mastercam Lathe software provides easy 2D and 3D geometry creation with complete wireframe & surface modeling. Mastercam Lathe software allows associative dimensions to update as you change your model, includes extensive editing tools and provides built-in data translators.

Machine and Control Definition of Mastercam Lathe software allows users to define features and characteristics for all the machines in your shop to simplify programming and streamline machine changes. The powerful Lathe program available in Mastercam Lathe software includes the ability to click and drag a machining start point to anywhere on your model, finish contouring, set a CSS feed rate for the desired finish quality, easily define groove depth, width, wall angles, corner radius and chamfer, and complete threading with multiple starts, diameter calculation and thread tables, just to name a few.

The Mastercam Lathe software allows users to quickly check toolpaths as they are created with a cross-section of the part in progress, view or save a 3D model of your part at any machining stage, and view or verify your part being cut with Mastercam's backplot or solid toolpath verification. The Mastercam Lathe software also includes comprehensive insert libraries including updated Kenametal®, Iscar, Valenite®, and Sandvik, as well as a new Sandvik Swiss Tool Library.
