CATIA Direct Translator for Mastercam

CATIA Direct is a Mastercam enhancement product that provides powerful translation capabilities for Catia files within Mastercam. Features of CATIA Direct include the option to import CATIA V5 models into Mastercam with the associated GD&T data as well as all other PMI (Product Manufacturing Information) or MBD (Model Based Definition) data. CATIA Direct supports R18 CATPART and CATPRODUCT (assembly format) files. With CATIA Direct, you can also import multiple files in batch mode.

Supported entities include surfaces, solids, wireframe data, axes places, colors, levels / layers, and drilling features. CATIA V4 import and export can read native EXP, CAT,MOD,MDL and MODEL file types. Also included is the ability to export Solids or Surface data as surfaces to CATIA V4

Two-dimensional entities (defined in the drafting and detailing world) referred to as CATIA DRAWING entities and are not supported for V4 or V5 CATIA files.
